“Romi” – Oil painting – Portrait of the Queen of the Leopards of the Masai-Mara
Animal Artist Stephan Alsac presents his latest painting : The portrait of the famous female leopard of the Masai-Mara: Romi.
My first meeting with Romi goes back a few years. For having observed a certain number of leopards, I must say that she exerts a certain fascination and obviously not only for me. Indeed, each leopard is different, and Romi is one of those panthers who have an extra “je ne sais quoi”. She is beautiful.
This time, it has now been several months since Romi disappeared. It’s not the first time she hasn’t been found like that and I think I’m going to have to leave Kenya without having seen her. After several days of fruitless research on her vast territory, my guide tells me that she has finally reappeared and that she has left a “kill” in a tree by the river.
He is sure that she will come back in the evening, to take some bites of her prey. We take position and after an hour of waiting, as if she had prepared her entrance, she appears. It takes my breath away, I know it will only last a few minutes, so I shoot: she poses, stretches against the tree, takes off, then disappears into the foliage.
Finally, it is my son who will have had the most beautiful image, the one that I will use for this painting, a tribute to the Queen of Leopards.
About the Artist:

Shipping
Your comission is usually shipped within a week and delivered to you, depending on the type of delivery you choose. You can choose 4 types of delivery:- Point Relais: this is the cheapest and slowest method: your order is delivered to the nearest point Relais. You can choose the relay point when you place your order, once you've entered your delivery address. This type of delivery is available only in France.
- Standard shipment: this is a normal postal shipment, use only for France. As a general rule, it takes 3-4 days from the time your order is dispatched.
- Premium shipment: this is the safest and fastest method. Recommended for a delivery abroad. It involves shipment by a carrier such as UPS, Fedex or DHL, depending on your delivery address, and takes 1-2 days from the day of shipment. We recommend this method for originals, digigraphs and photographs.

RETURNS AND right of withdrawal
