Description
“Wild Beauty” is a series of Black and White Art Photographs by Animal Artist Stéphane Alsac, known for his strikingly realistic paintings of animals. The artistic intention of this collection of monochrome photos is to create a dialogue between the African wild animal and the viewer. The black and white photo brings out the shapes and textures of African animals and thus emphasizes the raw strength of the animal and its wild beauty. Stéphane Alsac invites you to plunge your eyes into those of the Lion, to touch the texture of the Elephant’s trunk, to feel the leopard hiss through these artistic black and white and sepia photos. The atmosphere of the African savannah takes you on a magical photo safari. Original photographic prints are limited to 25 copies. The photo is signed by the wildlife photographer and numbered. Choose the size and look of your photo:
– Classic format : A “analog” quality digital photo print for lovers of monochrome photography. The photo is printed on a 60 x 42 cm ( 23,6″ x 16,5″) Hot press Bright matte photo paper which reveals shades of deep blacks and pure whites. The shades of grey desired by the Artist are respected. For this format, we recommend a frame under anti-reflective glass: matte black frame, mat and white mount card for an elegant finish.
– “Awagami” print : the traditional Japanese photo paper for Art photography purists. This top-of-the-range paper is handmade using ancestral methods. Its texture as well as its fringed edges bring a satin finish softening the contrasts. Shades of grey are enhanced. For this paper, we recommend a thin, black shadow box frame. The fringed edges are visible and the photograph then seems to float in its frame. Alternatively, we suggest leaving without glass, for a “tactile” rendering but at the risk of damaging the photo; or we offer museum quality anti-reflective glass.
– Gloss acrylic glass : Very trendy, this print allows very large formats without frames. The print is glued between an acrylic glass and an aluminum panel. The photograph then offers deep contrasts for a powerful and modern effect. No need for framing for this edge-to-edge panorama like an open window on African wildlife.
